Included inside of select NES system bundles (right beside the famous SMB/Duck Hunt/World Class multi-cart) was the slender pad of power. The Power Pad! Hopping up and down on blue/red coordinate circles trying with all of your jello leg might to move an on-screen running sprite may sound like a blast to some but, for the rest of us sanely overweight bunch, we know better.

After a few runs around the brightly colored pad, “the poor treadmill” quickly proves to be a chore and thus is neatly packed up in its nice cardboard box. Despite the rumors: EXERCISE IS NOT FUN! Being fat and lazy is always to go, kids! The last person you’d want to be is Richard Simmons…right? RIGHT?!!
