Drac’s Night Out was never officially released on the NES. This Parker Brothers game is available to us only via prototype.

The game begins normally enough with Mr. Bloodsucker, himself, hanging loose in his humble abode in Transylvania. There’s just one minor little detail–his castle is teeming with PO’ed villagers that would very much like to make tonight Drac’s final “night out!”

The gameplay is similar to Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle at first, but later on Drac travels around towns in the style of an overhead RPG. Dracula’s ultimate goal is to find his lovely gal, Mina.

Featuring the Reebok Pump

More shameful than Spot, Mc Kids, California Raisins, and Yo! Noid all wrapped up in one, throughout his adventure, Drac can pick up a Reebok Pump power-up. When donned, The Drac can “pump up” to run faster.

The Reebok Pump. In the 15th century. Worn by Dracula.

I nominate this as the worst advertisement tie-in in all of video game history.

Or, rather, the BEST advertisement tie-in in all of video game history.
